Vargas vs. Carrasco
If you haven't heard already, Adam Moore got placed on the 60-day DL and the Mariners brought up catcher Chris Gimenez from Tacoma to take his roster spot. It really is too bad for Moore, as he was one of the few Mariners having a good year thus far. Also, Jack Wilson isn't in the lineup today, but seeing he got "injured"during the last game I won't get my hopes up. It's too bad he's not in the lineup either, seeing as it'll be more difficult to find somebody to blame the potential loss on. Hopefully Vargas can get us the time so it won't matter anyway. He has a history of pitching well at Safeco so he should give the Mariners a legitimately good chance to win. It fells strange to have the home opening a week into the season, so let's hope it's a good one. Go Vargas!
